Large Wombat - Made to order

Carved from Jelutong this Wombat has a wonderful tactile feel in the hand. Carved entirely by knife work and still bares some of the tool marks of the process.

As this item is made to order it will ship 3 weeks from the date the transaction is complete, if not sooner. If you are trying to meet a specific delivery date, get in contact prior to ordering and we can discuss options.

Our finishing options are Danish Oil and French Polish. The Danish Oil finish adds depth of colour and cures in a matte finish with the natural timber texture, the French polish is a glossy and smooth finish. If you're after a more natural look the Danish Oil is recommended. 

Colour options: the majority of my work is finished with a charring method to highlight the carving style and add an interesting visual element. Natural finish is uncharred and unstained and will just be oiled (colour will be golden yellow) or Shellacked (colour will be light brown). Staining will completely change the colour and will always be quite dark and deep colour.
