About Us

My name is Nick and I started Bailey Thompson with my wife in 2022 after struggling to find enough space to display my houseplants, and wanting different and interesting ways to do so.

Bored with the usual decorative pot options and wondering why, after spending all this money on beautiful plants, there was no effort put into the creation of beautiful displays, I was inspired to make some solutions for people like me. I believe that plant furniture should be as interesting as the plants themselves.

I've always been pretty handy, and with my passion for woodwork and reclaimed materials, I'm happy to share my collection with you. I'm always looking for inspiration but as long as it's made from wood, can work in modest sized spaces either owned or rented, truly shows off your plants, and hasn't really been seen before, then it's likely one of my creations!

Just a note on my reclaimed timber items. I hate waste and believe that most things can have another life quite easily. You'll find me scouring roadsides or communal waste rooms in apartment complexes, looking for discarded wood/wooden furniture. I love taking these items and creating something beautiful that anyone would be proud to have in their home or garden. These items are particularly special to us and help to drive a more sustainable footprint for our business.

Today we handmake contemporary, stylish, and unique timber display stands, from sustainably sourced, milled timber and reclaimed timber.
