The Danish Oil finish adds depth of colour and cures in a matte finish with the natural timber texture, the French polish is a glossy and smooth finish. If you're after a more natural look the Danish Oil is recommended. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eColour options: the majority of my work is finished with a charring method to highlight the carving style and add an interesting visual element. Natural finish is uncharred and unstained and will just be oiled (colour will be golden yellow) or Shellacked (colour will be light brown).
